THE 2014

 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES ARE

ANNOUNCED

Our Mission

The Irish Broadcasting Hall of Fame has been created to honour those men, women and organisations who have, since 1900 contributed significantly to Irish Culture and Irish History through broadcasting. Irish broadcasters have engaged, enraged and enthralled generations of viewers and listeners. It is our intention to create a permanent exhibition hall and online presence dedicated to those annually inducted into the Hall of Fame. Not only will this exhibition recognise the achievements of the inductees but it will also be a focus for education and research. The Hall of Fame will become part of The Irish Museum of Broadcasting Archives and Research Centre where all the strands of Irish Broadcasting and Broadcasters could be gathered in one place for future generations to use and expand.

The Irish Broadcasting Hall of Fame is a non-profit organisation but it requires financial support to maintain its web presence, to gather research and to store a large amount of written material. Any assistance in the form of grants or sponsorship would be welcome.
